PME finds… Dead guard found hanging on fence died of heart failure

THE watchman whose lifeless body was found suspended on the high fence at his workplace Sunday last was laid to rest according to Muslim rites following a post-mortem examination.The PME revealed that Amjad Ali, 64, died as a result of a second heart failure.

The man was the security guard at Best Buy Auto Sales, located at Lot 171 Peter Rose Street, Queenstown, Georgetown and was found dangling from the fence by his shirt as he tried to climb the fence to gain access to the locked compound.

Reports said it was habitual for Ali to climb the high fence to exit the gated and secured business place to make purchases and on Saturday night it was no different.
He was in the process of climbing the fence when he died.
His body was observed early Sunday morning hanging from the side fence which is very high and outfitted with razor wire and police were summoned to the scene an the body was removed.
Sleuths said they arrived at the scene at about 06:00 hours after one of the workers of the business place found the man’s body suspended on the fence by his shirt.
