A MAN is in police custody following a shooting incident in Waterloo Street, in the city early Saturday morning after an unlicensed gun and ammunition were found on his person.

Police said at about 05:15 hours on October 25, 2014, ranks of a mobile police patrol responded to a report of gunshots being discharged at Waterloo Street, Georgetown.

A man was arrested and found in possession of an unlicensed Intratech Luger 9mm. pistol with four rounds and three empty shells.
