Pastor Grimmond’s noisy place of worship

AGAIN, I wish to make Pastor Grimmond, of Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demerara aware that noise from his church is of concern, and we are again, as we have done several times in the past, to no avail, bringing this to the attention of the Church. We informed the Pastor on a number of different occasions that the noise emanating from his church is disturbing my family to such an extent that it is affecting the enjoyment of our family home; and this is in direct contravention to the Laws of Guyana, CHAPTER 20:05 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT
His infractions include prevention of:
* My children from studying; and
* My family watching television, and
* Sleeping, specifically, on the evening of June 23, 2014, and on several other occasions when the volume emanating from his place of worship has been excessively loud.
In view of this, I am using this medium to appeal to Pastor Grimmond to please maintain the volume of his microphone to a moderate level for his parishioners alone to hear, or seal his building, as would be done to any disco-like condition.
I am hoping we could reach an amicable solution; however, if this is not possible, I will have no alternative but to pursue more formal action.
I look forward to the Pastor’s co-operation in this matter. I am also bringing this matter to the attention of John Smith, General Superintendant, Guyana Assemblies of God.
