THE Guyana Chronicle, in a May 15, 2014 article headlined ‘GECOM: Local Govt. elections funds will be released, once date is set’, inadvertently, attributed the following paragraph to Public Relations Officer (PRO), Vishnu Persaud:“…that a budgetary allocation of $3.3B for the agency’s administrative and other related costs were approved by Parliament during its considerations of the National Budget.”
