In recognition of this milestone, Joel Abraham, the Marketing Director of the Australian Institute of Business is visiting Guyana again and will be having an Information Session on January 24, a press release stated.
Interested persons are invited to a free MBA Information Session conducted by the AIB representative on Friday, January 24th at Hotel Tower, beginning at 18:00 hrs. According to the release, persons should call 225-4516 or 227-4623 for further details and to secure their space.
Commenting on this development, Director of Nations University, Dr. Brian O’Toole said, “Nations University has been delivering the AIB MBA for two years now and the programme is highly recognised by employers and students of Guyana. In August 2013, Nations University hosted its first AIB Graduation ceremony which was a big success.”

The AIB Marketing Director, Joel Abraham added, “The MBA is the world’s most popular postgraduate degree which is often seen as a passport to a management career. AIB’s 12-month MBA is tailor-made for the busy professional and is successfully delivered all over the world.”
The programme, he says, allows professionals to work and study at the same time and apply their knowledge to the workplace immediately. “AIB has stringent quality control procedures in place to ensure all our teaching centres adhere to Australian standards and practices. All exams are set and marked in Australia and the course content is vetted by Australian academics and delivered in Guyana by an Australian-approved panel of lecturers,” Abraham said.
The AIB MBA can be completed at Nations University within 12 to 15 months, and is one of the most affordable MBA programmes available in Guyana. In 2013 the programme was ranked 10th internationally and 3rd in Australia by the CEO Magazine (UK).
AIB is a 25-year-old Business School based in Australia, offering business degrees, undertaking research and providing consultancy services globally. AIB is ‘The Practical Business School’ committed to delivering courses which are work-applied, accelerated, accessible, affordable and fully accredited, the release added.
