SIXTY-YEAR-OLD Irving Griffith, a construction worker, of Lot 1536 Lamaha Park, Georgetown and 41-year-old Deon Graham, a pump attendant at the Mandela Avenue RUBiS Gas Station, faced separate assault charges yesterday. Before Magistrate Ann McLennan they, each, pleaded not guilty to the offence that said, on Monday, July 15, at Lot 2236 Lamaha Park, they unlawfully assaulted each other.
Police Corporal Bharat Mangru, prosecuting, said Griffith pulled a phone away from his reputed wife and she, in turn, lashed him with a pot spoon.
But the prosecutor indicated that the common-law couple will not proceed against one another and the cases were dismissed.
However, the two persons were bonded to keep the peace for 12 months.
