THE Ministry of Education has appointed a new Regional Education Officer of Region 2 (Pomeroon/Supenaam).

According to reports from the Regional Administration, Ms. Baramdai Seepersaud will replace Ms. Lyselyn Edwards Charles who is promoted to the Education Ministry’s Head Office in Georgetown as Chief Education Officer [ag.] Secondary.
Ms. Seepersaud, who is currently taking over from Ms. Charles, will be acting in the position as Regional Education Officer. Scores of teachers and Heads of Schools at a special meeting on Saturday last at the Anna Regina Secondary School welcomed Mrs Seepersaud to the Region.
