Simpli RoyaI is also delighted to announce that the first ever, Mr. Guyana Talented Teen Pageant is now added to the event, showcasing young, talented Guyanese teenage boys.  According to organiser, Pamela Dillion, the males will be charged with ambassadorial duties, highlighting issues facing teens and young adults and they will also take on a ‘big brother’ project to assist a child whose opportunity for education is threatened this year.
For the first time, the production committee will also produce an eight-week reality TV series featuring the training and promotional activities of the delegates. In the spotlight too would be the trainers, designers and sponsors. The training has been enhanced to add a segment on dramatic performances in addition to the talent development sessions.
Promotional activities include the Cotillion, Vagina Monologues for Teenagers and a motorcade, among other things.
A Talented Teen Reunion and launch is planned for July 21, 2013 in the form of a brunch, where this year’s lineup of contestants will be introduced to the public. There will also be a Women of Substance Seminar on July 24 and a movie night on July 26.
According to Dillion, there is a lineup of eleven talented, beautiful young ladies vying for the crown and a chance to represent Guyana at the Caribbean Talented Teens Pageant in St. Kitts in December. In addition, nine charismatic and talented young men will be on show in this first ever Mr. Guyana Talented Teen.
Already there is evidence of spectacular talent in the performing arts that will make the show one of the best ever. Prizes include a trip to a location to be named, a laptop computer, educational awards, trophies, cash prizes and a partial wardrobe for winners in each segment.
For the first time this show will be held outdoors at the National Park where the entire tarmac will be transformed to a Teensville with food and drink stalls, fun games, and  fabulous displays of local talent.
