Two suspected bandits arrested – caught with unlicensed gun in vehicle with false number plates

AT about 14:30 hrs yesterday, police ranks intercepted a motor vehicle at Camp and New Market Streets, Georgetown, after the vehicle was observed to be trailing the vehicle of a citizen who had earlier transacted business at a city Bank.

An unlicensed .32 Taurus Pistol with 11 matching rounds was found in the vehicle which carried false registration number plates.
Two men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
