LINROY Reid, 23, of Lot 7 Yarrow Dam, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore and pleaded not guilty to threatening language yesterday. It is alleged that, on June 18, he committed the offence when he used a threat to his aunt, Dianna Reid.
Police Prosecutor, Renetta Bentham, who unsuccessfully, objected to bail for the defendant, said the virtual complainant had offered her nephew to settle the matter but he threatened to “bore” her.
The prosecutor said the case arose out of an argument between the two relatives.
Linroy Reid was granted $40,000 bail and placed on a bond to keep the peace, pending his return to court on July 25.
