ORONDELL Williams, of Lot 88 Leopold Street, Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore yesterday, facing two charges.
Particulars of the offences said, on May, 31 in Lombard Street, Georgetown, he attempted to take a .38 Taurus revolver from Aaron Seegobin and stole a Blackberry cellular phone, valued $38,000, property of Stephanie Mascoll.
Police Corporal Renetta Bentham, prosecuting, told the Court that the defendant was shot while he was trying to take the gun from the owner.
Defence Counsel Paul Fung-a-Fat requested reasonable bail and it was granted over the objection by the Prosecutor.
Surety was set at $100,000 and $50,000, respectively.
