Home Affairs Ministry sends police ranks on overseas training : –among several to benefit from specialised training in 2013

SENIOR Superintendent, Leslie James, Deputy Superintendent, Michael Kingston and Inspector Mitchell Caesar are currently attending the Criminal Gang/Organised Crime Investigations Course being conducted at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Academy in Port of Spain from May 13 to May 18, 2013. This training programme has been sponsored by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and is designed to highlight some of the basic strategies and methods used by international law enforcement agencies to successfully investigate and prosecute criminal enterprises, and to develop an awareness of criminal gang activity within the prison system, among other objectives.

Thus far for the year, several ranks — including Traffic Chief, Superintendent Hugh Denhert — have benefited from overseas training, compliments of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA).
