Nigel Somersault, 43, of Lot 67 Wismar Housing Scheme, Linden, Alfred Adrian, 47, of Lot 55 Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara and 20-year-old Rakesh Deen (no address given) pleaded not guilty to individual charges possessing 724 grammes of cannabis (marijuana) for the purpose, on Wednesday, April 3, at Mabura Road.
Police Corporal Seon Blackman, prosecuting, who successfully objected to bail for the trio, said, that day, ranks, acting on information, stopped PFF 7227, a motor car that was being driven by Somersault and a bag, filled with seeds and stems of the prohibited plant, was found on the right side front seat.
