THE police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Altaf Mohamed Ali, 45 years, of Annandale South, East Coast Demerara, who succumbed at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) on April 05, 2013. Police investigations, so far, have revealed that at about 19:30 hrs on April 02, 2013, Altaf Mohamed Ali was riding a bicycle along the Lusignan Public Road, also on the East Coast, when he was struck down by a motor car. He was taken to the GPH and admitted for medical treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the relatives of Altaf Mohamed Ali had reported to the police that he was missing.
