Five Super50 teams to battle for two spots today

ST JOHN’S, Antigua (CMC) – The final two spots in the round of four will be decided when the regional Super50 competition enters its final preliminary round with matches across the region today. Barbados, Combined Campuses and Colleges, Guyana, Windward Islands and Leeward Islands all have a chance of joining Trinidad and Tobago and defending champions Jamaica.
Barbados have 10 points from five matches, Combined Campuses and Colleges 10 points from six matches, Guyana and Windward Islands both have eight points from five matches and Leeward Islands have four points from five matches.
On Thursday, Trinidad and Tobago scored a hard-fought three-wicket win over Jamaica at Sabina Park to record their fifth win in a row.
The win carried the Trinidadians to the top of the table on 21 points and left Jamaica on 19 points from five matches.
The Red Force will attempt to maintain their unbeaten run when they play Barbados at Queen’s Park Oval while Leeward Islands and Windward Islands will meet at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground.
In the other match, Guyana will face Jamaica at Guyana National Stadium in a day/night contest.
The Final Four of the tournament will be played under lights at Kensington Oval, Barbados while the Semi-finals will be played on Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19.
The Final will be played on Sunday, April 21.
