POLICE on patrol conducted a search at a Butterfly Creek camp, in North West District, on March 11, when they found an unlicensed 12-gauge shotgun and five cartridges.

The next day, March 12, while conducting investigations into a report of larceny at Kurupung, another interior location, ranks searched a building and discovered an unlicensed .38 revolver.
Investigations into both finds are ongoing.
