The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) is collaborating with the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, to help promote and encourage private sector participation in the school’s Master of Small & Medium Enterprise Management Programme.
On Thursday, March 7,CCI President, Mr. Clinton Urling and the Executive Director of the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, Professor Miguel Carrillo signed a Memorandum of Understanding to this effect, the Chamber said in a press release.
This programme impacts on the improvement of the management capabilities and skills base available to the micro and small enterprise sector.
According to the release, collaboration with Lok Jack Graduate School of Business will allow GCCI to provide a regional and international forum for networking for its members and other members of the private sector.
This collaboration will also facilitate establishing links for members to collaborate with other businesses to improve the sustainability of their organization, as well as provide technical support and capacity building for its members. Other collaborative initiatives were also discussed, the release concluded.
