TUTORIAL High School registered another big win over the weekend; this time against St John’s College in the Petra-organised Milo Under-20 football competition which is being contested at the Ministry of Education (MOE) ground. St John’s, suffered another huge defeat as they fell 0–5 against Tutorial on Sunday afternoon.
Doubles from Teshawn Rodney (7th, 68th) and Steve Stanton (54th, 75th) along with a goal from Alistair Walker (13th) were enough to comfortably secure another round of points for Tutorial.
Also on Sunday, South Ruimveldt sank Cummings Lodge 3-1 with Steffon Enoe (18th, 48th) and Jermaine Beckles (14th) scoring for the victors while Asward Washington scored a consolation goal for Cummings Lodge in the 57th minute.
Finally, the day wrapped up with Bishops’ needling Queen’s College as Shamal Lewis scored the lone goal.
On Saturday afternoon, Charlestown defeated Christ Church 2-0; Shane Morris scored the first goal in the ninth minute and Anthony Bartholomew scored the second in the 60th minute.
Tucville trounced St George’s 2-0 with scorers Dorwin Filter (5th) and Ryan Blackman (14th) while North Georgetown gained a walkover from Ascension.
