GPHC seeking assistance in identifying male Amerindian – warded at hospital in unconscious state

THE Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) is seeking assistance in identifying an injured Amerindian male who was found in an unconscious state at Big Creek in the Port Kaituma, North West Region, earlier this week and who remains warded at the hospital.

altThe man was reportedly dropped off at the Port Kaituma Hospital on Monday last and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of the GPHC.
The injured man is said to be about 28 to 30 years old. He sustained a cut below the left eye and at the time of admission, appeared to have suffered head injuries. He was evacuated to the GPHC, accompanied by a nurse on Tuesday, and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where to date, he remains unconscious.
The GPHC’s Public Relations Department contacted the Port Kaituma Hospital and has since learnt that the man’s call name is ‘Porridge’, but got no further information on his identity or whereabouts.
