Digicel Guyana last week launched their long-waited Digicel Mashramani Fit 2013 at Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) in Georgetown in which upbeat fitness trainer; Curtis Mckenzie had the large group of participants moving to popular songs as he showed off some exciting exercise moves in an effort for them to get fit for the upcoming Mashramani.
Speaking at the event, Head of Marketing, Jacqueline James said that this year’s Digicel Mash Fit is similar to the previous one and also thanked all the participants for coming out and told the excited crowd made up of mostly women that prizes are up for grabs.
She added that there are several categories from the persons, who lost the most weight and the oldest persons among others and urged the participants to take the opportunity to ensure they hydrate themselves and also get fit for Mashramani and “be on the road with Digicel”.
James stated that this year Digicel also wants to place first on the road and encouraged all to count their participation at the launching last Friday.
Participants were also gifted tokens by Digicel at the launching on Friday last at DCC.
