The accused, Cyon Collier called ‘Picture Boy’ is said to have ridden up on a motorcycle , dressed in black clothing, with a gun slung across his back and began gaffing with the men. He then began cranking that gun and started shooting.
It is said everyone scattered, running off in different directions. Witnesses say that when the shooting stopped, the two brothers were found with what appeared to be bullet holes in their bodies. Sugar was lying on the road and Alo was found in a nearby yard. They were taken to to the Georgetown Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
When the hearing resumes today at the Demerara Assizes, the defence is expected to tell its story to the jury.
