THE Payless Variety Store located at Wellington Street in Georgetown and Stelling Road in Vreed-en-Hoop, West Bank Demerara yesterday launched their “Shop and Win” Christmas promotion. 
With every purchase of at least $1,000, customers are eligible to enter the promotion by simply writing their names and telephone numbers aback of their bills, and depositing those in a box provided for that purpose.

Public Relations Officer of Payless, Mr. Kirk Clarke stated that the store is going big on Christmas this year, by putting up a Suzuki Swift motor car as the grand prize. He said the second prize is a Jialing motorcycle, whilst the third prize is a flat screen television.
Clarke said other prizes include a 32” Sony flat screen television, a digital camera, BlackBerry phone, microwave, blender, foot spa, and a cordless phone.
He added that five Blackberry phones will be given out on the day of the grand drawing, December 30, 2012.
