BRIAN Westmont, 24, of Lot 3415 North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was fined $15,000 with the alternative of three weeks imprisonment yesterday, for using abusive language to his aunt, Irene Blackman. He pleaded guilty to the November 5 offence and Magistrate Sueanna Lovell also put him on a bond to be of good behaviour for one year.
The virtual complainant told the court that her nephew is in the habit of verbally abusing her and, that day, he was cursing her and she could not take it anymore.
