POLICE are investigating a burglary that was discovered about 05:55 hrs, on Wednesday, at the home of Astabuddin Ahmad at Lot 36, Adventure, Essequibo Coast. Ehwass Baksh, 32, of Lots 2-3 Adventure, made the report and investigations revealed that he is the caretaker for Ahmad who is presently overseas.
Baksh had gone to check on the house and discovered the door prised open.
Missing were one .32 Taurus revolver, an undisclosed amount of foreign currency and a quantity of jewellery.
