A PARTNERSHIP for National Unity (APNU) has extended its condolences to the relatives of those persons who lost their lives in all communities in the United States of America as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The Partnership and the Party also express their sympathy to those who suffered physical injury, personal discomfort, damage to property and dislocation as a result of the storm.
The Partnership especially empathises with the citizens of New York, New Jersey, Maryland and the District of Columbia, where many Guyanese nationals reside and where the effects of the storm were extremely devastating.
“We would like to assure you of our continued concern and support,” says a message from APNU.
“We extend our prayers to all those affected during this time of distress. We wish that there would be a speedy recovery and return to normalcy from the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy,” the message concluded.
