Stacy Goodings from AG Chambers admitted to practice

STACY Goodings, 23, was admitted to the Bar recently, after her petition was presented by Senior Counsel Edward Luckhoo to Justice Brassington Reynolds.

altGoodings, who grew up in Berbice but moved to West Coast Demerara in 2008, had attended New Amsterdam Multilateral School between 2000 and 2005 and President College (PC) from 2005 to 2007.
From 2007 to 2010, she was a student at University of Guyana (UG) before attending Hugh Wooding Law School between 2010  to 2012.
At the last, she was Secretary of the Student Representation Council and worked, from June to August 2011 in service training at Luckhoo and Luckhoo law offices.
Since June 2012, she has been working in the Attorney General’s Chambers and will continue there.
However, Goodings said she plans to be a person of service in conserving the environment and will be pursuing studies in that field shortly.
She is the daughter of National Insurance Scheme (NIS) Office Manager Hazel Goodings  and Anthony Goodings, who is a member of GuySuCo Senior Staff at Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara.
Stacy Goodings  has one sibling, Xerke Goodings who is a civil engineer at the Guyana Energy Agency (GEA).
