HUNDREDS of Guyanese flocked the California Stucco booth in the main auditorium at GuyExpo in Sophia and were furnished with full, comprehensive and complete details on the services, products and operations of the company.

Caaltlifornia Stucco is new to Guyana, and is a first-time exhibitor at GuyExpo. The company officially launched its services to the Guyanese public on Friday at its GuyExpo booth.
California Stucco is in the business of putting finishing touches on newly renovated and run-down buildings. The company provides such services as decorative mouldings for windows, door trims and crowns, using acrylic stucco.
Its office at Sheriff and Bonasika Streets in Section K, Campbellville was in an almost deplorable state, but was restored by the company and is now being used as its main local office.
There is, however, the intention to expand the operations to other parts of Guyana.

Speaking with the Guyana Chronicle on Friday last, Marketing Director, Gregory Shaw said that California Stucco not only brings a product to Guyana, but that product is superior; and the company offers installation of a product that brings value to homes and families.alt
“The company uses professional equipment and staff, and completes its work in a time efficient manner” is how Mr. Shaw describes the instillation process for jobs that California Stucco is required to do.
The company mentioned that there would be “pleasing offers” to persons who visit its booth at GuyExpo and place orders for California Stucco, but the extent of the discounts were not discussed.
Charles Seecharan, Chief Executive Officer of California Stucco, spoke with this publication. He said the presence of California Stucco at GuyExpo was mainly to showcase to the Guyanese people its brand new service and, in some cases, the most modern style of building material.
He said that one of the main priorities for his company would be the quality and value-for-money services it would be offering its customers.
The company CEO explained that while his company is in the business of competition, there is also that aspect of relationship building, which is of utmost importance to the entire management team of California Stucco.
He noted that good, meaningful, and honest relationships will build his clientele in this country and the clientele of any other company that adopts that approach.
According to Seecharan, despite the overseas and Caribbean presence of California Stucco, the company hopes to make its Guyana operations 99.99 and a ½ percent Guyanese. He told the Chronicle that the workforce in Guyana will be young men and women from these shores, who will be trained and exposed to the operations of the altcompany so that they will become the senior managers as the company grows.

The company head disclosed that California Stucco will be engaging all stakeholders and persons in all sectors to make the business viable, and this does not mean an exclusion of competitors, since experience and knowledge will be shared among the Guyanese people.
The products and services being offered by California Stucco have caused the company to become tremendously popular at GuyExpo over the last two days.
Mr. Seecharan said his company decided to come to this part of the Caribbean after receiving much encouragement from persons who had seen the techniques and materials being used as ideal for Guyana.
He said that from doing his market research and speaking to several persons from the various sectors, he noted that with the construction boom that started in the early 2000s and continues to this day, investing in Guyana was something that he and his company needed to do in order to add value to the products and services that are being offered by others in the industry.
He added that while his company will not be involved in throat slitting of its competitors, competition is the order of the day, and his company intends to compete with all in the sector to force an even superior competition and better service to the Guyanese customers, and to promote a higher quality product that brings with it comfort and excitement for the persons who benefit from the services of California Stucco.

California Stucco intends to bring to Guyana a product that can best be described as the Caribbean brand.
Among the advantages of using Stucco is the fact that it is crack resistant, and at the same time is able to bridge crack and check marks. The material is known to be fire resistant.
Additionally, the colour of the material is resistant to abuse; and according to the manufacturers, California Stucco is permanent, which eliminates the need for painting. What is more, the product can be cleaned easily.
While California Stucco has been in existence for the past eight years, the company is now launching its operation in Guyana. The company also has a presence in Trinidad and in parts of the United States, where it has earned for itself almost 15 years of experience in the job it does presently.
