U308 graduates TSX Venture Exchange …focusing on uranium exploration at Kurupung Project

U 308,  a Canadian-based company focused on exploration and resource expansion of uranium and associated commodities in Guyana and two other locations in South America, has announced that the company has been approved by the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) to graduate to the TSX Venture Exchange and list its common shares on the TSX. U308 Corp’s common shares began trading yesterday on the TSX under the same symbol “UWE”.
The TSX Venture Exchange is a stock exchange in Canada which is a public venture capital marketplace providing financial capital to high-potential growth startup companies.
Dr. Richard Spencer, U3O8 Corp’s President and CEO, said that U3O8 Corp’s graduation to the TSX marks another milestone and reflects its transition from a junior explorer into a mid-sized uranium company with a rapidly growing resource portfolio, across a spectrum of commodities.
He said, “We believe a senior listing will raise our profile and broaden our investor reach, particularly as we aim to show that our Colombian deposit has considerable size while moving to complete a preliminary economic assessment on this project by year-end.”
U3O8 Corp. focuses on exploration and resource expansion of uranium and associated commodities in South America, including Guyana – which the Company sees as a promising new frontier for uranium exploration and development.
The company said that in just one year, its  uranium resources have grown 7-fold, with deposits now in Colombia, Argentina and Guyana at the Kurupung Project, – an initial uranium deposit in a large emerging uranium district.
It said that positive metallurgical results have been achieved on all three projects.
