Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr. Roger Luncheon, during a post-Cabinet briefing yesterday at the Office of the President, updated the media on decisions made by Government on the diplomatic front. He stated that while Cabinet approved the appointment of H.E Hojaholah Soltani as the non-resident Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Guyana, it also endorsed proposals for the establishment of diplomatic relations between Guyana and Serbia.
Diplomatic relations with the latter facilitates the appointment of a non-resident Ambassador.
