Marlon Bobb, 21 of 707 East Ruimveldt Georgetown and Derrick Norton (no address given) appeared in court yesterday under the charges of larceny from person and robbery with aggravation. It has been alleged that on July 29 at Robb and king street Georgetown, the man stole a gold bracelet valued at $60,000 property of Pearlene Adams and on July 30 at Georgetown, the defendants robbed brendon Charles of a gold chain valued at $65,000.
The matters were laid indictable and no plea was required before Magistrate Hazel Octive- Hamilton at the Georgetown magistrates’ court.
Bail was granted to both men at $120,000 for the larceny from person charge, however, bail was denied for the other charge.
Both defendants were remanded to prison and will appear in court on September 17.
