Where are Guyana’s good Samaritans?

ON the evening of July 31, my daughter’s car broke down on the Demerara Harbour Bridge, resulting in inconvenience to other vehicles. My daughter had with her my niece and my 10-year-old granddaughter.

Passing drivers hurled abuses of the grossest indecency at these helpless young females. The majority who did this were male East Indians, many of whom are probably heads of families.

Two young men, one of Indian descent, the other of African descent, assisted in pushing the vehicle into a corner.

I wish to thank these two “Good Samaritans” for their kindness. May God richly bless you!
