TWO more defendants charged with threatening behaviour appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday. One of them, Dwayne Forde, of Lot 213 South Road, Georgetown, is alleged to have threatened Joseph Jagdeo on July 22 in South Road, Georgetown but he pleaded not guilty.
He was granted $20,000 bail and also placed on a bond pending the determination of the case.
Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, said that Ford and Jagdeo live on the same premises and, that day, the former picked up a bottle containing gasolene and told the latter he would do something to him.
That case has been postponed to September 10.
The other defendant, Richard Austin, of Lot 19 Zorg, Essequibo Coast, was ordered to post $25,000 bail.
The virtual complainant in that July 21 case, Cheryl Hopkinson was, allegedly, threatened at Moruca in the North West District of Region 1 (Barima/Waini).
Austin has to be back in court on October 2.
