SHARMA Solomon and Vanessa Kissoon are the people who must be held accountable for the deaths, injuries and destruction that took place at Linden: for giving their fiery speeches to start this illegal protest. Khemraj Ramjattan  and Moses Nagamotoo, the two main architects in the political arena along with  Anand Persaud of Stabroek News and Glenn Lall of Kaieteur News, who were peddling this for a long time.
The Linden protestors must now turn their attention to those named above and hold them accountable.
Those above-mentioned names were pushing this illegal protest knowing fully well that all Guyanese asked for is just a bit of fairness in equal payment for electricity.
They know in their hearts that this was so unfair to all other Guyanese all across Guyana who must break their backs to pay $65 per KWH for their electricity while Lindeners only pay $5 per KWH..
Yet they kept pushing their nefarious political agendas in the hope of scoring political mileage; all along they wanted fair play, now they see the consequences of fair play.
It’s sad to see to what length some politicians will go, even causing death and destruction to gain political mileage.
I wish and hope these protestors will now turn their full attention to those who willingly misled them.
This media must now go out and ask the people who voted for the AFC if this is what they elected members of the AFC for.
It was not so long ago an AFC member in Enmore on the East Coast of Demerara talked about bloodshed.
