THE new 2012 UNAIDS report ‘Together we will end AIDS’ will be launched today ahead of the XIX International AIDS Conference which is taking place from 22-27 July in Washington, DC. The report contains the latest data on numbers of new HIV infections, numbers of people receiving antiretroviral treatment, AIDS-related deaths and HIV among children. It also highlights new scientific opportunities and social progress, and gives an overview of international and domestic HIV investments.
The report will be launched during a high-level interactive panel discussion in Washington.
