Chandrowtie Muslim of Canal No 2 Polder, West Bank Demerara, was on Friday fined $80,000 by Magistrate Ann Mc Lenon at the Wales Magistrates’ court when she appeared to answer  two charges: driving without a licence and breach of insurance. The court was told that Muslim was driving motor car No HB 6967 along the Stanleytown public road, West Bank Demerara on July 12, 2012 around 22:30hrs when she was stopped by police on patrol.
A check revealed  that she was not the holder of a driver’s licence. Magistrate Mc Lenon fined her $40,000 on each of the two charges.
