Jamaica played unbeaten to win the inaugural Regional Under-17 Championship, after whipping Windward Islands by six wickets in their final round match here Saturday. The victory  gave them  29.5 points, with Trinidad and Tobago finishing second on 23.5 points and the Windwards and Barbados third on 18. Guyana finished with 15.5 while Leeward Islands were last on 4.5 points.
Playing at Bon Accord, Jamaica restricted the Windwards to 166 for nine after losing the toss and being asked to bowl first.
Keone George top-scored with 66 and supported Preston McSween who got 28, while Kevon Williams claimed four for 33 and Ramaal Lewis picked up two for 36.
In reply, Triston Coleman hit an accomplished 76 as Jamaica cruised to 170 for three off 26 overs.
At Shaw Park, T&T beat Guyana by two wickets to secure second position in the standings.
Winning the toss and batting, Guyana reached 157 for eight off 46 overs with Shimron Hetmeyer top-scoring with 78.
Bryan Charles was the best bowler with three for 24 while Jesse Bootan claimed two wickets for two runs.
T&T then got home in the last over thanks to 56 from Jeremy Solozano 56.
At Plymouth, Barbados ended a poor campaign on a high note, with a 91-run victory over the Leewards. Opting to bat first, they were bowled out for 245 off 45.5 overs with Kyle Hinkson missing out on a century with 90.
Shane Venner collected five for 44 with Shawn Tuitt supporting with two for 35. Left-arm seamer Jerome Jones then grabbed four for 36 and Demar Thorne, three for 53, as the Leewards were bundled out for 154 off 40 overs.
