SURINAMESE motor racer Oliver Tjin Liep Shie and his crew have arrived to show off entertaining driving today at the South Dakota Circuit, at the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) meeting, as he enters the challenge in the Group II category with his Honda Civic motor car #597. Tjin Liep Shie displayed exciting racing skills and entertained the fans in round one of the GMRSC Race of Champions in the rainy April meeting.
Oliver who is no stranger to the local motor-racing arena will be looking forward to another excellent performance if all goes well with the technical team and the motor vehicle, which is in top shape for the meet.
Speaking with Chronicle Sport, His technical team indicated that they are confident of a good performance today and await the first Group II race to make alternative adjustments to the vehicle to continue their quest.
Oliver, who began racing in Guyana in 2007, also represented Guyana in Jamaica and has become a popular name locally and in Caribbean circles.
