RAYMOND Baird, 45, of Lot 167 Charlotte Street, Bourda, Georgetown appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday, charged with being in possession of a narcotic. He pleaded not guilty to the offence, particulars of which stated that, on June 8, in Charlotte Street, Bourda, he had five grammes of cannabis (marijuana).
The defendant pleaded not guilty and made a bail application, to which Police Corporal Simone Payne, prosecuting, had no objection.
He was ordered to post $50,000 surety and return to court on June 20.
