Man accused of stealing $120,000 gold bangles remanded

— has other cases of similar nature pending in other courts
TERRENCE Wills (no address given) yesterday appeared before Georgetown Magistrate Hazel Octive Hamilton charged with larceny from the person.
Particulars of the charge state that, on May 28 at Georgetown, he stole Loutie Persaud’s pair of gold bangles valued at $120,000.
Wills was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge.
Police Prosecutor Corporal Simone Payne objected to the man being granted bail on the ground that he has matters of a similar nature pending in other courts.
Wills was remanded to prison pending his next court appearance, on June 6.
