TWO judges have been assigned to the Demerara Criminal Session which opens today in Georgetown with the traditional ceremonial parade. Two hundred and thirty-four cases are listed for hearing by Justice Roxanne George and Justice Franklyn Holder.
Of the 234 cases listed, 77 are for murder, 25 for manslaughter, 54 for carnal knowledge and 36 for rape.
