Night Shelter resident on inflicting grievous bodily harm charge

MAGISTRATE Hazel Octave-Hamilton yesterday released Shane Ciprio on bail when he appeared in court charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm. Ciprio, 21, a resident of the East La Penitence Night Shelter, was not required to plea to the charge that said on, May 6, he inflicted grievous bodily harm on Frederick Hendricks.
Ciprio informed the court that he has a mental disorder and is currently under treatment. He claimed to be a patient of ‘Dr. Harry.’
Hendricks sustained a broken arm, the magistrate revealed. Ciprio was released on $25,000 bail and was sent to court Two for his trial date.
