A FAMILY, from Danielstown, Essequibo Coast, is seeking help from Food for the Poor or any other organisation to build a comfortable house. Abiola Moore said they cannot afford the expense and, currently, live in a small building that sits on the ground.
According to her, whenever it rains, the roof leaks in almost every part and, many times, snakes and other creatures take refuge in their abode, at times of heavy and consistent rainfall and flooding.
Moore said she decided to appeal for assistance because she cannot raise the amount of money needed for the purpose.
She, however, feels confident that God will speak to Food for the Poor Guyana Director to assist her.
