WHILE the Tourism Authority is proclaiming moves to improve the tourism industry, it should concede that Guyana has come almost nowhere in improving its status to be classified as a fairly clean country. Who will be attracted to tour Georgetown or the country areas when the smell of garbage and the sight of garbage sicken?

I weep for Guyana so often.
