FORMER Commissioner of Police and now APNU (PNC), MP, Winston Felix, yesterday accused the PPP/C government of hiring drug lord, Roger Khan to help it fight crime and he fingered Home Affairs Minister, Clement Rohee in interference in police matters, including attempting to prevent an arrest. While the government has been widely and frequently accused of enlisting the services of Khan, yesterday’s charge was even more stunning as Felix was the Police Commissioner at the time and had himself been criticised over his association with Khan through a mutual contact.
Winston Felix former police commissioner of all people should know if one is hired to do a job and does not perform he must be fired.
For Felix to now claim that the government had hired known drug pusher Roger Khan to fight crime means that the top cop failed to do the job he was hired to do.
Felix should hang his head in total shame and is a disgrace to not only the police force in Guyana but the entire nation.
Felix would not reveal to the nation what role he and GDF David Clark played as partners with Roger Khan the known drug pusher.
Most Guyanese knew the Winston Felix / David Clark and Roger relationship.
