FARMERS Vijay Ramdass (34) and Hazrat Ibrahim (17) of Grant 1806, Crabwood Creek, Corentyne were attacked by two shotgun-toting men at about 08:45hrs yesterday, while they were in a boat in the backdam of their village. Vijay Ramdass sustained gunshot injuries to his right eye, while Hazrat Ibrahim was shot to his upper back before the attackers escaped.
The injured men were taken to the Skeldon Hospital before being referred to the New Amsterdam Hospital, where they are in-patients receiving medical treatment.
