FOR the second time in its history, the Cheekies family from ANSA McAL Trading went countrywide to honour mothers of newborn babies on New Year’s Day.
The presentation of “Cheekies Bundle of Joy” gift hampers marked the 13th anniversary of this annual tradition by ANSA McAL Trading. “Cheekies Bundle of Joy” hampers were presented to all mothers who gave birth on New Year’s Day in Georgetown, Berbice and Essequibo.
All gifts were reportedly well received, and certainly brought smiles to the faces of many of the new mothers.
Mr. Nigel Dodson, Brands Coordinator, ANSA McAL Trading, said that it was his and the company’s pleasure to support mothers as they laid the foundation for a new generation filled with hope and promise on New Year’s Day.
Two extra large hampers for the first boy and girl contained 140 Cheekies Cloth Soft diapers along with a Cheekies growth chart. All other hampers contained 80 diapers and a Cheekies growth chart.
Moreover, Cheekies Cloth Soft samples were shared out to all other mothers on the Maternity Wards at Georgetown hospitals.

GEORGETOWN PUBLIC HOSPITAL CORPORATION
* Demme Porter, 18 years old, from Friendship ECD, gave birth to her 1st child, a girl, at 1.00 a.m.
* Kerida Holder, 33 years old, of Waterloo Street, gave birth to her 2nd child, a boy, at 02.02 a.m.
* Cathleen De Jesus, 24 years, of Pigeon Island, gave birth to her 4th child, a boy, at 01.55 a.m.
* Tysha Marcus, 31 years, of Drysdale Street Charlestown, gave birth to her 4th child, a girl, at 01.10 a.m
* Fazia Walker, 19 years old, of Industry ECD, gave birth to her 1st child, a boy, at 06.37 a.m.
* Latoya Benn, 19 years old, of Albouystown, gave birth to her 1st baby boy, at 06.04a.m.
* Michelle Fredrick, 22 years old, of Craig EBD, gave birth to her 3rd child, a boy, at 07.15 am
* Felicia Baynes, 17 years old, of Haslington ECD, gave birth to her 1st child, a girl, at 04.48am.

WOODLANDS HOSPITAL
* Adunni Bascom, 37 years old, of Durban Street, gave birth to her 4th child, a boy, at 01.35 a.m.
* Seema Raghnaught, 34 years old, of Golden Grove ECD, gave birth to her first child, a girl, at 09.45 a.m.

NEW AMSTERDAM HOSPITAL, BERBICE
* Radica Dayadat, 25 years old, of Fyrish Village, gave birth to her 2nd child, a boy, at 01.45 a.m.
* Devika Narain, 30 years old, of Port Mourant, gave birth to her 2nd child, a boy at 08.15am.

SUDDIE HOSPITAL, ESSEQUIBO COAST
* Sharmilla Narine, 19 years old, of Adventure Essequibo Coast gave birth to her first child, a girl, at 03.20 a.m.
* Onesha Gill, 22 years old, of Airy Hall Essequibo Coast, gave birth to her second child, a boy, at 09.12hrs.
