Teen gets $40,000 bail for trying to break and enter dwelling house

SHERMAN James, 18, of Lot 79 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, appeared on December 30 before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on a charge of attempting to commit a felony. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which stated that on December 26 he attempted to break and enter the dwelling house of Dwayne Ferdinand.
The accused requested bail, and was sent on his pre-trail liberty in the sum of $40,000. The case will again be called on January 25.
