EIGHTEEN-year-old Shakeel Fraser, of Lot 153 Lodge Housing Scheme appeared on December 30 before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on a robbery charge. He was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which stated that, on December 26, he robbed Ronexie Duncan of one cell phone valued $51,000 and US$120 cash.
Attorney-at-Law Mr. Patrice Henry,  representing the accused, requested reasonable bail, saying that the incident allegedly occurred at the Main Big Lime on Main Street, but the accused was at home all day with his mother.
The accused was granted bail in the sum of $30,000 and the matter will be called again on January 25.
