A SENIOR Environmental Officer, Ms. Amelia Hinds joined the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) campaign Sunday, telling others that the party is for youth and their development.
Speaking at Stewartville, West Coast Demerara, she declared: “The only party that is fighting our battles is the PPP/C…this is your party.”
Hinds said, under the PPP/C, young professionals have been nurtured and given the chance to excel in their area of expertise.
“The PPP/C is committed to inclusiveness…youths now have many opportunities to choose from…any young person, regardless of race, can benefit from scholarships,” she affirmed.
Hinds cited, among the massive advances in Region Three (Essequibo Islands/West Demerara):

* major works being done on an athletic synthetic track field;

She said the last is reflective of the PPP/C’s recognition that not all children are academically inclined and proof of the Administration’s commitment to ensuring that each child is equipped to realise his/or her potential.
Hinds encouraged the thousands rallying to support continued progress and development not only for youths, but for all Guyanese.
