Clothes vendor trafficking case postponed to January

SONIA Cameron (no address given) was yesterday remanded to prison, too, when she appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry. The defendant pleaded not guilty to a charge, which stated that, on November 3, she had 360 grammes of cannabis (marijuana) in her possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The clothes vendor was represented by attorney-at-law Mr. Patrice Henry, who made a failed bail application, which was turned down as no special reasons were advanced for the grant.
Cameron will make her next Court appearance on January 18, 2012.
